Stephanie, Was it a manager or just a cashier? I asked a manager last week and he said they don't, even though there is one in Thomasville. It sure would be nice if they did take them though!
Hi I am in North Florida and shop at Tallahassee Publix on Capital circle and they take my Rite Aid coupon every week and no one says a word. I hope this helps
I've used several of these Rite Aid $5/25 coupons - I probably use two a week. I called our local Publix (I live in the north suburbs of Atlanta) and asked if they would accept it as a competitor's coupon - and the manager said absolutely. So! I've been able to use one of these for every visit. It's awesome - definitely worth checking into.
I live in the Atlanta area (northern) and have always been successful using the RA coupons at my Publix... sometimes the cashiers call over the managers, but they always give the okay! One time I used two $5/$25 coupons in one $50+ transaction!
Ok, I have to share with ya'll...if you have to take meds on a regular basis...Check out Rite Aid's transfer deal.
I unfortunately have to take 4-5 meds a month for r/a. I have been at Walgreens forever just "because"...then I saw that Rite Aid was giving a $25 gc for EACH transfer up to FOUR at a time per customer! Sooooooooooooooooo I have earned 5...
Then my dr. put me on another med...so in June when they ran these again.... I ANOTHER....
Then saddly my d.h. got a RAGING sinus infection and hey....he had to get FOUR filled... I dropped them at Walgreens...did NOT have them filled and then bounced them ro Rite Aid and YEAH...He got FOUR more .....
And.....our dr. put him on b.p. meds that he takes....sooooooo yep...another gc.....
Ok...it's like close to $300 now and though it stinks to be on meds...well...my meds only cost like $11 a pop...so, I'm making a profit and all these gc have kept us in toilet paper, tampons and detergent!!
Now here's the kick...today I just got in the mail an offer from Target...if I transfer THERE...they're ready to give me $25 per...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My publix no longer takes drug store coupons as competitors.
Ours took it on Thursday. There's a Rite Aid up in Thomasville.

The Parkway Village store in Fairburn accepts them, I used one yesterday. They said they accept ALL competitors including CVS and Walgreens as well.

Not to shabby!
Which Publix in Atlanta can you use the $5 off for every $25 from Rite Aid??? I am in the area. This would save my family a lot of money!
