Publix Super Savers!

Are y'all ready to share your Publix finds? I love to see how many of you are joining in, sharing your deals, and encouraging each other to spend less and save more!

Here are my deals for this week! A lot of perimeter items (fruit, veggies, eggs, dairy), which is my goal. There is a great deal on cantelope this week ($.99), and organic strawberries are on sale again ($2.99)! I am excited to try the Newman's Own cereal, since our family enjoys many of their other products. And we now have 3 Swiffer dusters - my girls and I love these, so now we can all three dust at the same time!

By the way, I used two rainchecks this week. One for Birds Eye vegetables, and one for Stonyfield Farms yogurts. Don't forget to ask for a raincheck if your Publix store is out of an item. You can work it into your shopping trip at a later date, and use coupons with your raincheck items!

I was disappointed to learn this week that my Publix store is no longer accepting Food Lion or Albertson's coupons. This makes things a little bit more challenging, since there aren't very many "competitors" in our area with coupons to make the whole "we accept competitor coupons" policy very beneficial. It would be really wonderful if Publix would release similar store coupons by email or in their magazines, such as $2/5 produce/deli and Publix brand coupons, wouldn't it? These kind of coupons enable me to shop more at Publix and skip trips to other stores some weeks, which makes this mama very happy. We'll see!

Regular Price Total: $76.52
- $25.31 (sales)
- $9.00 (coupons)
Total Oop: $42.21

Saved 45%

What great deals have you picked up at Publix this week?

I am loving seeing how many of y'all are saving BIG and sharing your deals, so join in on the fun!Leave a link here to your Publix shopping trip post (and please link back to Fiddledeedee) so that we can all see your shopping adventures! Don't have a blog? You can still join in - just post how much you saved this week at Publix in the comments section!

It is a bummer when they don't except competitors! Mine never really has. They argue every time I try to use Target - so I've given up attempting. Good week regardless (it can be done sans competitors). OOP $98, saved $131! That is 57%!

Thanks again for your wonderful blog!

That is a complete bummer about your Publix not taking those coupons anymore! I wonder why the change of heart all of a sudden? We don't have any Food Lion stores around us, so our Publix has never taken them. But they do take CVS, RiteAid, and Walgreens, which I've always thought was a little strange. I am not complaining though! I would LOVE to see $ off produce and deli item coupons from Publix. Great savings on "perimeter items" this week! Thanks for all you do!!

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but the BOLT DVD is $18.99 this week, use the $5 off DVD Publix Q in the new green flyer, and the MFR printable Q and do the MIR for $4.00 back, makes it $4.99! I have the links on my post. Great Easter basket addition.

I just used a $5/$50 from Albertsons at my Publix yesterday. I was told that they would no longer be accepting Target q's since Target is not technically a grocery store, even though the nearest Target is a SuperTarget. I have yet to test this though :-) So, if they no longer are accepting Albertsons, are they accepting any competitors coupons? I only have time to hit one grocery store a week, so I would be seriously bummed if I was no longer able to use competitor's q's.
Thanks for helping me find the Publix deals each week!

I've been a reader/subscriber to your blog for awhile & look forward to your Publix post each week. My Publix is always great about taking competitor coupons. They even took a $10/75 from WinnDixie that was two days past expiration. I'm so thankful for learning how to match coupons with sales, I can afford to shop at Publix now.

I inquired at the my local Publix about them accepting the Food Lion and Albertson's coupons. They said that they will take the Food Lion coupons still because there is a Harvey's in Tallahassee. Harvey's is owned by Food Lion. I also have a fund raising book with coupons from Albertsons in there and Publix said that they would accept them as well. The customer service was great. I would inquire at you local Publix if you have any questions.
