Decorating for a Profit!

Our master bedroom is in need of a serious makeover. On a budget, this is a small (ahem) challenge. But I am a determined gal and here's proof that it can be done!

Here's the comforter set that I bought last week from Target.com. Originally $79.99, it is marked down to $55.99, plus is included in the current free shipping deal that Target is offering. But wait...it gets better...

Search & Win

I cashed in 660 Swagbucks (if you're patient, those Swagbucks do add up!) to receive 3 $20 Target E-Gift Cards.

Then I went to Target's website through Ebates in order to earn a percentage back on my purchase.

The end result? Combining the sale price, free shipping offer, and the Target E-Gift Cards from Swagbucks made the bedding completely free, and on top of that, earned me a couple dollars from Ebates (plus my $5 Ebates signup bonus!).

Now, that is a good deal, y'all! If you're not earning Swagbucks or shopping through Ebates, what are you waiting for? You might just get paid to redecorate your bedroom :)

How does SwagBucks work exactly? Does it just replace Google? Congratulations on your great deal!

Yeah, I'd like to know too. I get confused by all the different programs that are out there... which ones are best, which ones add up the fastest. And how do I remember to USE all of them?

Anna and Marin,
Yes, you can just use Swagbucks instead of google and you'll earn points that way. There are several other ways to earn though - check out this post:

and this one: http://fiddledeedeeblog.blogspot.com/2009/01/swagsters.html

A great way to earn more is to have friends and family sign up under you (and earn points too). The points add up more quickly that way!

Everyone else,
Y'all are too funny :) Thanks!
