Since this week is no doubt busy for all of us, here's a simplified version of My Favorite Things...revisiting an old favorite thing! Of course if you're dying to post a new favorite thing you can, but otherwise, you can just link to one of your old posts (maybe your VERY favorite thing!) this week.
My favorite thing this week is this booster seat. It is AWESOME. My daddy (or Grandaddy as he's known now!) bought us this when we went to visit once and we have used it every day since. When our second daughter was born, we bought a second seat, and I am so glad! Here's why I love these seats:
My favorite thing this week is this booster seat. It is AWESOME. My daddy (or Grandaddy as he's known now!) bought us this when we went to visit once and we have used it every day since. When our second daughter was born, we bought a second seat, and I am so glad! Here's why I love these seats:
- They are portable. Whether going out to eat, to a friends house, or to the Grandparents' for the weekend, these seats are easy to transport as well as quick to set up and take down. Even if you don't use them at home, these seats are compact enough to keep in your car, minivan, or SUV.
- They grow with children. You can adjust the height, the tray (so it isn't too tight on their little tummies!), and the seat belt. These seats fit our 1 year old (and have for several months), as well as our 4 year old, and have held up well so far.
- They are easy to clean. Of course, you know that if this makes my list and is housed in the kitchen, at least some part is dishwasher safe! In this case, it's the food tray. Just pop the food tray off of the regular tray and place it in the dishwasher to get it clean for next time.
- They fit on almost any chair. With an adjustable strap on the bottom and the back, the seats attach securely to almost any size or shape chair that you (or a restaurant, friend, grandparent, etc.) might have.
- They don't take up all of the room of a regular high chair.
- They cost less than $30 at Amazon.com (just search Fisher Price Booster), versus $100+ for regular high chairs.
What's your "Favorite Thing" this week?
Every Tuesday, I post about one of my favorite things, and you can too! Here's how:
1) Post about something that you are thankful for. It can be something that makes your life easier, more beautiful, more delicious or more fun - something that you just love!
2) Please remember to include a link in your post back to Fiddledeedee.
3) Post a link to your Favorite Things post in the box below!
4) If you don't have a blog but have a favorite thing to share, please comment!

I have to agree with you! I couldn't imagine having a big bulky high chair! These are so easy to clean, I even popped the WHOLE chair in my dishwasher before!
I love this seat too! We found a used one for my daughter for just $10.00 -- it was in near perfect condition. I love that it doesn't take up extra space -- and she enjoys sitting at the table with the rest of us!
We LOVE our FP booster too. Did you know you an call fisher price and get replacement trays (the inner white one) We have three so I always have a clean one even if I didn't get the dish washer loaded and ran!
I have one of these and LOVE it!! My "all boy" 2 year old won't sit down in the high chairs when we go out to eat. We take this seat along and he can't get out of it. Plus, we can stick him on the inside of a booth and I don't worry about a waiter droping something on him! :-)
