Are YOU a Publix Super Saver?

It's time for
Publix Super Savers!

Each Monday, I post my Publix shopping trip results from the current week and invite y'all to do the same. It is so much fun to see how much everyone is saving, so join in and share your deals!

This was a great week at Publix for our family. Even while buying things like pecans and organic milk, yogurt, and veggies, my savings were greater than my out-of-pocket total.

Can I say again how much I appreciate my store's generous coupon policy? Usually, I buy whatever I need that is not on sale at Publix at Walmart. However, lately I have been able to cut down on my Walmart trips because Publix' coupon policy is so great (and gas is so pricey) that it saves me money to shop there most of the time! Thanks Publix! Here are the results of this week's shopping trip (minus several items that were already put away or eaten):

Can you tell we like grits?

Regular Price Total: $76.97
- $24.21 (sales)
- $22.50 (coupons)
Total Out-of-Pocket: $30.26
(saved 61%)

What great deals did you pick up at Publix this week?

Leave a link here to your Publix shopping trip post (and please link back to Fiddledeedee) so that we can all see your shopping adventures! Don't have a blog? Just post how much you saved this week at Publix in the comments section!

Sarah,
You did great! Thanks for all your hard work. I just love Publix. I cannot find the other booklets at my Publix. I am unsure why? The fall one and the other latest one. I might go to another one and see if its out. Julie @ CouponSaving Family

Hi Sarah,

What a great week at Publix! Thanks to all your hard work I have learned so much about shopping at Publix. This is the best week since I started coupon shopping 9 months ago. It's such a blessing to know your blog!

Thank you,
Amy @ The Q Family

PS. I feature your blog again on my Five Finds for Friday: Coupon Edition. :)

Just a heads up. My local Publix in North FL would not take my $5/20 Walgreens coupon on Sat. They took it a couple of weeks ago. They said they are no longer accepting competitor's coupons unless they are from a competing GROCERY chain (i.e. Food Lion, Winn-Dixie, etc.). They also said they will not accept any coupon that is for a free item citing fraud. I don't know if this was a desicion on a local level or something broader - anyone else know???

I know that stores in general are having to crack down on their coupon policies - my beloved Publix, which has had the most generous coupon policy around, just 2 weeks ago stopped accepted anything printed off the computer with a value of over .50! I am SO bummed, and it's now 'costing' me probably $10/week (especially on a great week like this week), because fraudulent coupon users are taking away benefits from us honest ones. So beware that they can change their policy at any time.

My Publix is no longer taking 2 coupons for BOGO items; I can only use a coupon on the one I pay for. I am crying buckets.
