My favorite things for this week are my glass vases! I have collected quite a few of these over the past few years and use them for decorating year round. There are always some on my mantle with one thing or another in them, and I love that I can put different things in them to coordinate with the theme of any event for which I am decorating. I know Christmas is still a ways off, but here is what the vases will look like in a few months...
Some things that I have put in the vases so far:
- River rocks and candles
- Sand and candles
- Fall Leaves (filled to the brim and spilling over is really pretty)
- Fall Leaves and candles (don't worry, I don't burn these candles when leaves are present!)
- Seashells
- Advice/Family Tradition idea cards at wedding/baby showers with color-coordinated bow tied around the vase
- Glass balls at Christmastime (my very favorite use - these are some pictures my super-talented photographer sister took at Christmastime)

What's your "Favorite Thing" this week?
Every Tuesday, I post about one of my favorite things, and you can too! Here's how:
- Post about something that makes your life easier, more beautiful, more delicious or just more fun.
- Please remember to include a link in your post back to Fiddledeedee.
- Post a link to your blog in the box below!
- If you don't have a blog but have a favorite thing to share, please comment!

I have vases like this that I too just LOVE. I bought a ton of different colored glass ornaments at garden ridge after Christmas last year & use them year round - pastels for Easter/spring, oranges for fall and of course Christmas!
So pretty!!
What beautiful photographs!! Did you take these??
BEAUTIFUL!!! You seem to be so creative! Can you come decorate my house...please? ;)
Very pretty, Sarah. Where did you find your vases?
Beautiful! I have a large (thin) glass bowl I use for the same purpose. (so festive!)
Love the Xmas idea!
:)
Great blog!
Busy week here in FL. Sorry I didn't join in. Hope to be back to visit...
