My Favorite Thing this week is my Pampered Chef Ice Cream Dipper! Now certainly, no one needs an ice cream dipper (unless you're an employee at Baskin Robbins, that is). But let me tell y'all, the difference between scooping hard ice cream with a spoon and with this fancy schmancy tool is night and day!
So why is this gadget so great? Here's how Pampered Chef describes it:
- "Heavy-duty dipper uses the heat of your hand to warm the nontoxic defrosting liquid sealed inside the handle to easily cut through hard ice cream."
My interpretation? It makes scooping ice cream a breeze! In fact, at the parties I have been to (obviously from all my Pampered Chef Favorite Things, you can tell that this girl has been to her share of parties!), the consultant puts an ice cube into the scoop and it immediately starts melting. It really is amazing!

We had one of those until my sister put it through the dishwasher, then it was no more :(
That is my fear! We've had to rescue it several times before running the dishwasher because other people put it in thinking it was dishwasher safe.

Oh, Pampered Chef has some of the best kitchen tools made! I do not have one of these ice cream scoops.. but maybe I need to host a party.. MY PC list is getting long. LOL

I'm so glad to hear it! I've been a PC consultant/director for almost 9 years, and I love it when I hear people talking about our "stuff" that they love! I do the ice cube demo too, it really is amazing!
