This fancy Mama is back!

I am back from my little blogging break and am happy to say that the Fancy Nancy party was a success! My daughter and her friends had fun just being girls and playing together (all 9 of them!), and I cannot believe that my baby is growing up so fast.
I have missed blogging, and am looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!

As promised, here are a couple of pictures of the party details (aka the projects that have been keeping me busy lately...)

Tulle-covered topiaries (1 of 3)...

The birthday girl's fancy tutu!

We had parfaits instead of birthday cake, and the girls loved picking out their toppings. There were also glittery signs over the "Jewelry" and "Manicure" areas. These girls were feelin' FANCY! Come to think of it, maybe I need to have a Fancy Nancy party for the mamas...
Thank you to my sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law for all their help with the party!

That looked like so much fun! What great ideas!! My little girl is so boyish now but maybe one day I could talk her into a fun girly party..maybe something with a fashion show and runway!! Ha Ha

Im thinking of doing a "Fancy" party for my daughter Lily. I'd love to see more of your pics and ideas. I love what you did with the topiary. Any pictures of your table? Please share, you have such great ideas and I love your saving sense! Keri

Thanks Ladies! Y'all are sweet ;)

Keri,
I don't have very many pictures (yet) because my sister-in-law took photographs of the party for me, and I haven't gotten them back yet. When I do, I'll try to post some more photos!

Let's see...for the tables (small kid-sized tables/chairs) I just had $1 plastic pink tablecloths and the topiaries. In between the topiaries, I had a small galvanized metal bucket with crayons so the girls could color "fancy nancy" coloring pages as they arrived. I tried to keep it relatively simple and inexpensive.

Once everyone was there we split them up and half got their nails painted (with their choice of sparkly nail polish!) and half got to choose jewelry (necklaces, sticker earrings, and rings). Then we switched.

Next we did presents, and then parfaits. It was super easy and I spent less than $30 on everything! Please email me if I left anything out or for details on the topiary. Good luck with your party!
