Since I just couldn't stay away, here is what I bought at CVS today. I could have done a better job of planning this week's deal scenarios, but I have to remind myself paying $8.60 for $95.93 worth of items that our family will use is a pretty good deal!
For my other CVS adventures this week, meander on over to this post.
I think I'll call this CVS trip "We're set with paper towels for at least 6 months"!

You are truly a sharp shopping diva! I aspire to learn from your thrifty ways! Oh, and yes I love the magnolias too! Do we live in the same city?
were you aware that you could register your cvs card with UPromise and start saving for your kids college! free money!
"Home away from home", that is just too funny. I feel the same way!
Do ECB's roll over or do I have to use them all in one transaction? I went to CVS tonight and had $10 in ECB's. The clerk told me that I couldn't purchase anything for less than the balance of the ECBs. Have you found this to be true?

Tracy,
ECB's don't roll over in that sense. In order to use a $10 ECB, your (pre-tax) total would need to be at least $10.
The only exception would be if your total was $9.99 or so and you had a cashier who will manually adjust the ECB amount down to $9.99 for you.
If this happens again, just add some "free after ECB's" items to your buggy to get you to reach the $10 mark, and you'll recoup what you spend back in more ECB's (but hopefully in smaller increments so they're easier to use the next time).
Does this make sense? If not, please email me!
Thanks for your comment, and enjoy the CVS game :)
