CVS (where else?!)
Can I just tell you how happy I am to get these 3M hooks? I'll post later about where they end up in our home and what their function will be...there are just so many possibilities that I can't decide! And the Just for Men? Let's just say someone's birthday is coming up...and this will be the perfect gag gift! It would also be a good White Elephant Party gift come Christmastime.

Regular Price Total: $45.18

Total Oop: $4.47 (Yikes!*)
Total ECB's Earned: $18.99 ($6.00 Bic + $7.99 Just for Men + $5.00 3M Products)
Earned $5.52 more than I paid in with ECB's & cash, plus got everything for free. Not too shabby!
*Something weird happened with this transaction and the tax was really high (and by "really high" I mean even higher than the ridiculous amount it already is in our area), so it wouldn't accept my $4 ecb for the remainding amount due. After the cashier and I tried to figure out what was going on for while with no avail, I just paid oop. No big deal! Looking back now it looks like I had a extra $3 credit in there somewhere, and I think I could have had her adjust the ECB down. Oh well, live and learn :) I'm not sure what happened, but am going to mention it to the manager next time so that I can pay the $3 back if they'll let me. Either way, the extra oop will be recouped in no time I'm sure!
I have to thank TheCentsibleSawyer and Moneysavingmom for the coupon links mentioned above. These ladies have helped my CVS-ing so much with their coupon links and deal scenarios!

Great Job!
Isn't it absurd how upset we all get now if we have to pay more than $1 or so for $40-$50 worth of goods.
Nowhere but CVS (well, maybe Walgreens)!
awesome job! isn't CVS the best? i am hopelessly addicted!!
great job!
I love Gone With The Wind. We just moved and they don't have CVS in Arkansas. It is very sad. I used to blow the cashiers' minds at the CVS back home. Thank God for Walgreen's.
I had resisited the urge all week to do the 3M and post it deal. Your excitement about the hooks got me thinking about what I could use them for. So I came up with a plan and ran out to my CVS at 8:45(only a mile from my house) and got 4 packs of hooks, two post-it flags and 2 all detergants for 5 ecb's and got the 5 back! I'm glad I did, I am more excited about the hooks than anything else I bought at CVS this week! Thanks again for the coupon links in your posts!
Awesome as usual!
I know what you mean about getting disgruntled about paying "too much!" Although "too much" usually translates to $4 or so! HEHEHE! I have to sit and think about how much I REALLY walked out with and how much I have accumulated at home! But, you never quite feel GOOD about spending that extra money! HAHA!
I am anxious to hear how you will be using your hooks!
Thanks again for posting on my blog for CVS Superstars!

Thank you for stopping by, and for all of the sweet comments ladies!
Candace,
I know - I have so sit back and remind myself "You just bought $45 worth of stuff for $4...that IS a good deal"!
Jenny,
CVS IS the best!
Purple Teacup,
Gone with the Wind is my favorite movie ever! What I wouldn't give to wear those big hoop skirts every day!
Monica,
Yay for 3M hooks! Did you see what Laura at Organizing Junkie did them? Please let me know what you decide to do with the ones you bought. I'm so glad the coupon links are helpful!
Denise,
Thank YOU girl! I know - it's hard to go from paying less than $.50 oop one week to $4 the next! But really (at least if you're there as much as we are!) it all evens out eventually. Thank you stopping by, and I looove your CVS Superstars posts!
